The first episode of Depth Over Noise, hosted by Dr. Tony Nader, is now available.

Dr. Nader welcomes Hal Elrod, best-selling author of The Miracle Morning and one of the world’s leading voices on personal transformation, for a conversation about resilience, faith, and what it really means to care.

At 20, Hal was declared clinically dead after a car accident and told he might never walk again. Years later, he faced an aggressive leukemia diagnosis with only a 20–30% chance of survival. Through both, he chose to transform adversity into purpose rather than be defined by it. As Hal shares:

“The drunk driver who almost took my life, I made the decision to care about him. The judge wanted to give him three years in prison. I found out he had a child, he was married, he was 31 years old, and my caring was to ask the judge to give him minimal jail time.”

Dr. Nader and Hal discuss the central message of Dr. Nader’s upcoming book, The Power of Caring: Caring isn’t something we merely feel; it is something we practice. When we care for ourselves with intention first, we become more capable of caring for others in a meaningful way.

Follow Depth Over Noise for conversations with leading voices in neuroscience, leadership, health, spirituality, and personal growth, exploring what it means to live with greater awareness and conscious caring.

With best wishes, The Dr. Tony Nader team.

Dome Book club

Next book club meeting on Thursday 23rd July at 2 pm in the Dome dining room.
The book to read is ‘Giovanni’s Room’ by James Baldwin

David, a young American in 1950s Paris, is waiting for his fiancée to return from vacation in Spain. But when he meets Giovanni, a handsome Italian barman, the two men are drawn into an intense affair. After three months David’s fiancée returns and, denying who he is, he rejects Giovanni for a ‘safe’ future as a married man. It is a decision that will bring tragedy.

‘Exquisite, a feat of fire-breathing, imaginative daring’ Guardian

‘Gorgeous, fearless, tempered by dark knowledge and pain … the greatest American prose stylist of his generation’ Colm Tóibín

‘A layered exploration of queer desire … It is electric’ Hilton Als

Enquires to Rebecca and Julian. …  We look forward to seeing you there.

We’re happy to announce that we have two new members!

Chris Higgins

A warm welcome back to Chris Higgins, a TM teacher and former member. Chris was a member at the very start of our community. After some years, he moved from Skelmersdale to study at Maharishi International University, Fairfield and then travelled extensively in many countries working and teaching TM part-time. For the last 20 years, he has been based in Bangkok, Thailand. For 10 of those years, he has been full-time teaching TM, handling the marketing and regularly running WPA’s and residential courses. He has consistently maintained his connection with our community, visiting annually. On his most recent visit here, he really got to appreciate the many advantages of living in this beautiful community, not least of which are the wonderful experiences in the Dome, which he describes as ‘unbeatable anywhere’.

Cathy Riggs

Also returning to our community is former member, Cathy Riggs. Cathy grew up in Dublin, but lived most of her life in London, working in hotels and sending money home. In 1990 she learnt TM and went on to take the TM-Sidhi course too.

Following her dear John’s passing earlier this year, Cathy had a strong desire to return to our community, after a 10 year absence. Cathy has always loved the Dome daily programme and attending courses, especially the Invincible Europe Assembley. She has just signed up for her 25th IEA this August! Cathy has some good friends here and we are all very happy to have her back on the foam with us.
