A fresh chapter for the Panchakarma Centre🌿

There’s an exciting new energy at the Panchakarma Centre in Skelmersdale, as Your Ayurveda takes the men’s clinic forward into its next chapter.

While the heart of the clinic remains rooted in the Maharishi Ayurveda traditions and the approach to health and wellbeing that our community knows and values, Jay and Gibbie are looking forward to bringing fresh ideas, renewed enthusiasm and a real focus on creating a wonderful experience for every client who comes through the doors.

Jay will be taking care of the treatments and the personal touch that is so important to her, while Gibbie brings many years of business consultancy experience and will be supporting the clinic behind the scenes as it grows and develops.

 

 

 

If you haven’t visited the clinic yet, you may have met Jay at The Ayurveda Shop, where she supports Caroline and Peter, the long-standing owner of the shop.

David Evans will continue to share his considerable experience as a Panchakarma technician with Your Ayurveda but he will now have the opportunity to put more time and energy into his TM teaching and family life with Leesha.

And it wouldn’t be the same without our wonderful long-standing technicians, Davi and Kenna, who will continue to be an important part of the team. Their years of experience and familiar, caring approach are much valued by our clients.

We’re really looking forward to this next stage and to welcoming both familiar faces and new clients to the clinic.

29th Sept: The Person You Love Is Not the Person You Imagined, with Harville Hendrix & Helen LaKelly Hunt

Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt, creators of Imago Relationship Therapy, on why we fall in love with people who trigger our deepest wounds, the hidden reason couples struggle with difference, and how learning to truly see another person can transform a relationship.

Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt have spent more than four decades asking one of the most consequential questions in human relationships: Why can two people love each other deeply and still struggle to stay connected? In this episode of Depth Over Noise, Harville and Helen join Dr. Tony Nader to explore why we are often drawn to partners who activate our deepest unmet needs, why trying to change the person we love creates the power struggle at the heart of so many relationships, and why conflict does not necessarily mean we chose the
wrong person. They discuss the universal wound of feeling invisible, the practice of “zero negativity,” how dialogue can regulate two people in conflict, and what it means to create safety in the “space between.”

It is ultimately a conversation about caring at its most intimate: learning to see another human being not as the person we need them to become, but as the person who is actually standing in front of us.

8th Sept: Caring on the Other Side of War, with Chad Robichaux

Former Force Recon Marine and Mighty Oaks founder Chad Robichaux on losing the capacity to care, finding it again, and rescuing seventeen thousand people in the process.

Chad Robichaux served eight deployments to Afghanistan with a Joint Special Operations Command Task Force and came home with severe PTSD that nearly cost him his life. In this episode of Depth Over Noise, he joins Dr. Tony Nader to talk about the closet and the pistol, the steady love of his wife Kathy that reached him when nothing else could, the founding of Mighty Oaks Foundation that has now served roughly seven thousand warriors, and the 2021 rescue mission that became the largest civilian evacuation in American history. It is a sobering, hopeful, and deeply personal conversation about whether the capacity to care can be lost, and whether it can come back.

Over £500 has now come into the fund to help students at the Maharishi Free School to learn TM
The Janet Ayliffe Fund’ has an initial target of raising £2000 and will be maintained under the auspices of Maharishi Dome, which already manages various sponsorships for courses held here. This also gives the advantage of charity Gift Aid being able to be claimed from HMRC for any declared UK taxpayers.
